Wellness & Longevity
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in the body. At Randali, peptide therapy is physician-directed: a provider reviews your history and labs, and any prescription follows an individual evaluation. We offer the peptides we can source and prescribe lawfully, and we're candid about the ones we can't.
A peptide is simply a short chain of amino acids. Your body makes thousands of them, and they work as messengers, telling cells to release a hormone, repair tissue, or shift how they use energy. That signalling role is why peptides have drawn so much interest in wellness and longevity medicine.
It's also why the category needs a careful hand. Most peptides discussed online have never been through the trials that would establish how well they work or how safe they are over time, and many are sold by vendors labelling them "research use only, not for human consumption." That labelling is a regulatory dodge, not a safety assurance.
Our position is straightforward. We prescribe peptides that a licensed compounding pharmacy can lawfully prepare with pharmaceutical-grade material, and only when a provider judges them appropriate for you. Today that means sermorelin and NAD+. Several other peptides are moving through federal review, and we're following that process closely, but we won't offer them until they can be prescribed and compounded lawfully. This page is educational and is not medical advice or a diagnosis.
A consultation, medical history, and lab work are the only way to know whether peptide therapy is appropriate for you. Patients commonly ask about it for:
Worth a conversation if…
May not be appropriate if…
Candidacy is always determined during a confidential consultation.
A growth-hormone-releasing hormone analog that signals your pituitary to release its own growth hormone in natural pulses. Previously FDA-approved as Geref for diagnosing growth hormone deficiency; wellness use is off-label. Compounded and prescribed only after evaluation and labs.
Best for: Patients focused on body composition, sleep quality, and recovery
Benefits: May support sleep quality, recovery, and body composition; effects vary by individual
NAD+ is a coenzyme central to how cells produce energy, and levels decline with age. Given as a subcutaneous or intramuscular injection you administer at home, which suits patients who want NAD+ without the chair time an infusion requires. Compounded; no FDA-approved injectable NAD+ exists.
Best for: Patients focused on energy and healthy aging who prefer at-home dosing to infusion visits
Benefits: Chosen by patients focused on energy and cognitive wellness; research is still emerging
Under federal review
These six peptides were removed from the FDA's Category 2 safety list in April 2026, and an FDA advisory committee voted favorably on them in July 2026. That vote is advisory only, and federal rulemaking is not complete, so they cannot yet be lawfully prescribed or compounded. Randali does not offer them. We've written up what the research actually shows on each, and we'll revisit as the process moves.
Your provider reviews your history, symptoms, medications, and goals, and orders baseline labs. This is where appropriateness is decided, and sometimes the answer is that peptides aren't the right tool.
If therapy is appropriate, your provider explains which peptide, why, what the evidence supports, what it doesn't, and what it will cost. Your prescription goes to a licensed compounding pharmacy.
Most peptide therapy is self-administered at home with a fine subcutaneous needle. We show you the technique, site rotation, and storage before you leave.
Periodic labs and check-ins let your provider adjust dosing or stop therapy. Ongoing monitoring is part of the plan, not an upsell.
The injections themselves are quick and use a very fine needle, similar in feel to an insulin or GLP-1 injection. Most patients describe a brief pinch and nothing more.
Sermorelin is typically taken at night, because the body's natural growth hormone release is strongest during deep sleep. Your provider will set the timing that fits your regimen.
There's no downtime. Peptide injections are given subcutaneously and you continue your day normally.
Injection-site redness, itching, or a small welt is the most common effect and usually settles within hours. Rotating sites helps.
Peptide therapy is priced as a monthly program that includes the compounded prescription, injection training, and follow-up. Labs are billed separately and may be covered by insurance. Your provider confirms your exact plan and pricing at consultation, because dosing and duration differ by patient.
