Wellness & Longevity
NAD+ is a coenzyme central to how your cells produce energy, and levels decline with age. As a subcutaneous or intramuscular injection you give yourself at home, it suits patients who want NAD+ on a regular cadence without committing hours to an infusion. Physician-directed, and prescribed only after evaluation.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NAD+, is a coenzyme every cell uses. It carries electrons through the reactions that turn food into usable energy, and it's a required cofactor for the sirtuin and PARP enzymes involved in DNA repair and cellular stress responses. NAD+ levels fall with age, which is why it has become central to longevity research.
Injection is the route we offer, and cadence is the reason. An NAD+ infusion has to be run slowly, takes one to four hours, and ties each dose to an appointment. A subcutaneous or intramuscular injection takes under a minute at home, which makes a consistent schedule realistic in a way repeated infusion visits rarely are. We do not offer NAD+ as an IV.
Being straight about the evidence: NAD+ biology is well established, but human trials on injected or infused NAD+ for energy, cognition, or aging are small and early. No FDA-approved injectable NAD+ exists, so everything available is compounded. The FDA has also received adverse-event reports tied to NAD+ injectables and has specifically warned about compounders using food-grade material unsuitable for sterile preparation. We source pharmaceutical-grade NAD+ from licensed pharmacies. This page is educational and is not medical advice or a diagnosis.
Who peptide therapy suits in general is covered on the peptide therapy page. What follows is specific to dosing NAD+ by injection:

Candidacy is always determined during a confidential consultation.
Expect a wave of warmth, flushing, or a brief tightness in the chest or abdomen shortly after injecting. This is the characteristic NAD+ sensation and it usually passes within minutes. Starting at a low dose and injecting slowly keeps it manageable. Tell your provider about anything severe, persistent, or different from this pattern.
Route is a real decision here, not a formality. Subcutaneous dosing goes into the fat layer of the abdomen or thigh and absorbs more gradually, which many patients find blunts the flush. Intramuscular goes deeper, absorbs faster, and tends to feel more intense. Your provider recommends one based on your tolerance, and switching later is straightforward.
Injection-site tenderness or a small lump is more common with NAD+ than with most peptides, so rotating sites matters more here. It usually settles within a day.
NAD+ injections are priced as part of the peptide therapy program, and the full pricing picture is set out on that page. Your provider confirms your exact plan at consultation.
