How it works
Patients book it for two reasons: makeup that tends to sit better, and skincare that can absorb more easily once the surface layer is lifted. That is why we offer it alongside every ZO facial as well as on its own.
The hair grows back with the same texture and color it had before, not darker or coarser. Your provider will confirm it suits your skin, particularly if you have active breakouts in the area.

Frequently asked questions
Will the hair grow back darker or thicker?
No. It lifts fine vellus hair at the surface, and it regrows with the same texture and color it had before.
Can I add it to a facial?
Yes, to any facial on our menu. It adds about 15 minutes to the appointment.
How often can I have it done?
Every 3 to 4 weeks, roughly how long the surface layer takes to renew.
Does dermaplaning hurt?
It should not. Most patients describe a light scraping sensation, similar to being shaved. No numbing is needed.
